Refugee Sponsorship Training Program

The Refugee Sponsorship Training Program (RSTP) supports the Sponsorship Agreement Holders (SAHs) of Canada, their Constituent Groups, Groups of Five and Community Sponsors on a national level (excl. Quebec). The objective of the RSTP is to address the information and on-going training needs, as well as the initial information needs, of sponsored refugees.

Canadian Council for Refugees/Conseil canadien pour les réfugiés

A national non-profit umbrella organization committed to the rights and protection of refugees and other vulnerable migrants in Canada and around the world, and to the settlement of refugees and immigrants in Canada. The CCR has established a Syrian Refugee Support Fund to help support the settlement of Syrian refugees in Canada.

UNHCR

The UNHCR (The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) was established on December 14, 1950 by the UN to lead and co-ordinate international action to protect refugees and resolve refugee problems worldwide. Its primary purpose is to safeguard the rights and well-being of refugees. The website includes statistics and resources for staying informed, as well as ways to get involved and support the organization’s humanitarian efforts.
