This site offers free driver training quizzes for people who are going to write their drivers licence test in British Columbia. Included are car practice tests; commercial driving licence practice tests; motorcycle practice tests; three online driver’s manuals (car, motorcycle, commercial driving licence); and an FAQ section with detailed answers to over 70 questions.
Volunteering
Teen volunteers must:
- Be 14 – 18 years old
- Have a valid BC Medical Card
- Register for (and complete) the District’s Youth Volunteer Online Orientation program. As part of this program, you’ll create an online profile where you can indicate an interest in volunteer positions at the Library. If you have any concerns or questions on how to sign up, please contact volunteer@westvancouver.ca
Volunteer positions include:
- Shelvers: put paperbacks and magazines away, organize and straighten book shelves
- Book Buddies: read with school-aged kids and play fun literacy games
- Teen Technology Mentors: assist kids and adults in library staff-run Lab programs such as robotics, coding, and more.

New! Teen Library Involvement Opportunities
Looking for ways to contribute to the library, collaborate with other teens, and earn volunteer hours? Join one of the following,
- ROOM 14 GRAPHICS: create content and design slides for the monitor in Room 14
- OWN THE SHELVES: put together book displays, booklists, and make purchase suggestions for the teen collection (starts January 2025)
Meets monthly —Open to all high school students (you do not need to complete the District Volunteer Training program to attend).
Room 14
Room 14 is a space for youth in Grades 8 – 12. Anyone is welcome to browse the collections, but the seating, computers, and meeting room are just for teens.

The meeting room seats six and is available on a first come, first-served basis to groups of students in Grades 8 – 12. It cannot be booked in advance. Each group is entitled to use the room for 30 minutes if others are waiting. Students can connect their devices to free Wi-Fi here, too.
