West Van Reads Aloud: Call for Readers
Record an audiobook! We are looking for volunteers to read and record books for people with print disabilities. For the current book we are looking for female readers with a pleasant voice, excellent pronounciation, an ability to sight-read and comfort using computers. Experience with or interest in learning basic audio recording is a bonus! If you would like to audition, please see the Information Desk on the Main Floor.
We invite you to visit this exhibition of works by members of Coast Mental Health. On display through June 26 in the Art Gallery, Main and Lower Floor.
This Indigenous History Month, June 3 – 30, readers all across Canada are invited to read Glass Beads by Dawn Dumont as part of the One eRead Canada campaign. Download the ebook through our catalogue or the Libby app, follow a Facebook Group, and attend a Facebook Live event with the author, June 12, at 5 p.m. Learn more about this program and the Canadian Urban Libraries Council, on our webpage.
