There are also emergency preparedness guides for a variety of circumstances and hazards.
The District of West Vancouver is a FireSmart Community. This program provides residents with guidance to significantly reduce fire hazards in their neighbourhood.

NSEM provides advice on preparing an emergency kit, making an emergency plan, and signing up for the Alertable app. You can also sign up to be a volunteer in an emergency.
