WVML Announces 2022 Board

Four new trustees welcomed

West Vancouver, B.C.—The Board is pleased to welcome four new trustees this year: Dieter Diedericks, Professional Engineer and Project Management Professional, Richard Fisher, Communications consultant, writer and speaker at brevityco.ca, Sahar Sanajou, Customer Service Representative at CIBC, and Lorena Yu, Entrepreneur and Director at WVML Foundation.

Continuing Board Trustees are:

Alastair Nimmons, Chair – Senior Finance Executive.
Cynthia Garton, Vice-Chair – Retired school administrator.
Petra Cottier – Retired Corporate controller.
Nora Gambioli, Council Representative – District of West Vancouver Council.
Andrew Krawczyk – Retired high school principal; international education consultant.
Koichi Ronald Shimoda – Retired senior financial global executive.
Jatinder Sidhu – Freelance reporter/podcast producer.
Tracy Wachmann – Lawyer and Public Interest Coordinator, UBC Allard School of Law.
Felicia Zhu – Educational consultant and founder of 4921 Reading Room Society.

The Board appreciates the service of Jillian Stirk and Nazlin Sunderji and wishes them well in their future endeavours.

Library Trustees are instrumental in ensuring that the leadership, policies, relationships, financial resources, and infrastructure are in place to support the success of the Library. The 2022 Business Plan and Strategic Framework are now available online for the public. Information on the roles of Library Board Trustees and upcoming meetings are available online.
