Book Buddies | Grades 1-6
StoryhouseDuring this one-hour program with teen volunteers, children will play literacy games and practise reading skills. Children must be school-aged and able to read some English independently to register for this program, Book Buddies runs from 4–5 p.m. on Fridays, May 24–June 14. Kids must be able to attend all four sessions.
Family Storytime | All Ages
StoryhouseA chance for families to hear stories, sing songs, and learn new fingerplays and rhymes. Librarians will let you know how to modify an activity for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers whenever possible. Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

Family Introduction to Specdrums | Ages 5+
The LabSpecdrum musical rings allow you to create sounds by tapping different surfaces. In this program, participants will learn the basics of the Specdrum rings and app. Registration is required and opens April 2 at 10 a.m. Caregivers stay and play for this program. Please register only one name per family.
