Local Voices: West Vancouver Streamkeepers with Mike Perley
Wednesday, May 8 at 6 p.m.–7:30 p.m.
FreeThe West Vancouver Streamkeepers monitor salmon migration in our local creeks. Mike Perley will speak about the fish and their habitat. We will learn about the trials and challenges, and the joys and rewards the Streamkeepers encounter as they go about their work, including the very popular annual Adopt-A-Fish event, an annual partnership with West Vancouver Memorial Library.
Local Voices celebrates our community, as it was and as it is, in the words of the people who live here. Learn about who we are, why we chose to make our home in West Vancouver, and what we do here—presented in partnership with the West Vancouver Historical Society.
