LINC, which stands for Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada, is offering free online English Classes for Newcomers over the summer. The summer session starts Monday, July 14 and ends Thursday, August 21st.
The classes are for Literacy – Level 8. Assessments can be completed online. Online classes are 3 times a week with a fourth optional drop-in day for support with an instructor.
Eligible newcomers can attend these classes from anywhere in BC – they’re not limited to people living in the lower mainland. Permanent residents and refugees who have received approval for residency can register for these classes online: https://cbal.org/linconline
