Join us for a four-part podcasting workshop led by the multi-talented and widely-acclaimed author, editor, and CBC radio contributor, reporter, host, and producer, JJ Lee!
In this workshop, you will have the unique opportunity to learn how to use WWVML’sRecording Studio technology while being the subject of JJ LLee’snewest podcast project. The podcast you create together will be a record of your progress through this workshop as you learn audio engineering skills, build community, and tell your stories.

- Session II: Planning an Audio Project – Saturday, February 22, 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Session III: Recording – Saturday, March 1, 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Session IV: Editing and Producing – Saturday, March 8, 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.

JJ Lee worked for a decade as a CBC Radio contributor, reporter, producer, and host. In addition to his radio career, JJ Lee is the author of the memoir The Measure of a Man: The Story of a Father, a Son, and a Suit, which was a finalist for the Hilary Weston WWriters’Trust Prize for Non-Fiction, the Charles Taylor Prize for Literary Non-Fiction, the BC Book PPrize’sHubert Evans Non-Fiction Prize, and the Governor GGeneral’sLiterary Award for Non-Fiction. He is also the editor of the nonfiction anthology Better Next Year. He teaches creative nonfiction at The Writer’s Studio at Simon Fraser University and writing at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts in Burnaby, British Columbia.
