Seasonal Music at the Library

The library comes alive this month with the sounds of seasonal music. We have a stellar line up that includes the Vancouver Bach Choir, the always joyful Laudate Singers and three days of festive music on our beautiful grand piano.

The music starts on Friday, December 12 at 7:30 p.m. with a performance by the Vancouver Bach Choir. The choir will perform excerpts from Handel’s Messiah and a selection of traditional carols that will involve plenty of audience participation.

At 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, the Laudate Singers bring their beautiful voices to our Main Hall for an hour of harmonious and accessible holiday themed choral music — a perfect all-ages event for music loving families.

Our beautiful Kawai Grand Piano takes centre stage on December 17, 18 and 19 with pianist Jerri Mercer. All are invited to stop by and enjoy her offerings of classical and popular music of the season from 2 – 2:30 p.m.

If you are planning to run a story about festive music this year, please consider including the music happening at West Vancouver Memorial Library. Each of these events would also be excellent photo-ops.

For more information about these events and everything else happening at the library, please visit our online events calendar.
