Pour a drink of your choice and cozy up with three-time Juno Award–nominated singer-songwriter Jill Barber for an evening of live music right in your own home.
As a singer-songwriter, Jill's influences range from folk to pop to jazz. Her music career has taken her to the stages of Massey Hall in Toronto, The Blue Note in Tokyo, and The Vogue Theatre in Vancouver. However, this rare solo acoustic concert will find her in her most intimate setting—at home in her living room—performing a selection of songs in much the way they were first written: solo and acoustic. Jill will curate a set of her most popular repertoire, along with some of her more personal songs, and perhaps a beloved cover and a French song or two from her new French language album, Entre Nous.
Following up on her 2018 album Metaphora, which featured the #1 hit song "Girl’s Gotta Do,” Jill sold 40,000 copies of her breakthrough jazz album Chances in Canada. Jill’s work has earned her awards, such as the Sirius XM Jazz Artist of the Year and the East Coast Music Award for Album of the Year, and scores of fans, including Blue Rodeo, Ron Sexsmith, and Kris Kristofferson, who called Jill “a real songwriter, and a damn good songwriter.” Her evocative and timeless songs have been featured in film and TV, scoring shows such as Orange Is The New Black, The L Word, and Heartland.
