Accessing the Library’s Unlimited Ebooks + E-Audiobooks [VIRTUAL]

Most of the Library’s ebooks and e-audiobooks can only be checked out by one person at a time (just like physical books). But did you know that the Library has unlimited access titles for kids and teens that never have any holds lists or wait times? Join Youth Librarian Lise for a tour of our unlimited youth collections across three different platforms (RBDigital, TumbleBooks and a handful of items on Libby).

Participants of all ages are welcome, but we recommend that anyone under the age of 10 watch with a parent or caregiver.

Please note that these resources are only accessible by West Vancouver residents or West Vancouver Schools students or staff with a WVML card (more information on access here).

For this virtual program, we'll be using Zoom. We will use the “waiting room” feature on Zoom to let participants into the program one by one to keep things safe.

What you'll need:

-A computer with microphone (or headphones) and webcam for Zoom; or your smartphone/tablet.

-A WVML card (and be a resident of West Vancouver or a West Vancouver Schools student or staff member). Need a card? Unsure if your current card still works? Get more information or sign up for a card here.

An email address is required for registration. We will email you the Zoom link in advance of the program.

Saturday, May 9, 11 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.

For more information, call LibraryConnect at 604.925.7400 or email info@westvanlibrary.ca.

This program is now fully registered. Please contact the Department listed above to ask if there is a waiting list.
