“Woman, Life, Freedom” in Iran: Support Group
November 14, 2022 at 6:30 p.m.–8 p.m.

In this community-led program, registered counsellor Leila Milani-Hosseini will facilitate a healing space to provide emotional support and self-regulation tools to help community members cope with the current social and political situation in Iran. This program will be held in Farsi.
Leila Milani-Hossini is an Iranian immigrant woman working as a clinical counsellor at Family Services of Greater Vancouver. She has also worked with Immigrant Service Society of BC.
Hasti has worked with Radius SFU and City Hive. She holds a degree in Sociology from SFU with certificates in Trauma and Somatic Trauma Healing.
For this in-person program:
- Masks are recommended. Anyone who wishes to continue wearing a mask may choose to do so and that choice is respected.
- Per Public Health updates, proof of vaccination is no longer required.
Stay home if you are feeling sick. Please use the hand sanitizer provided when you arrive. As the COVID-19 situation continues to change, this program may be modified or cancelled.
