Valentines for Vets | All Ages
Saturday, November 11 at 1 p.m.–5 p.m.
This Remembrance Day, create a handmade valentine in the Youth Department, and we’ll send it to a Canadian Veteran via Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC).
The Valentines for Vets program helps us thank our Veterans on Remembrance Day and throughout the year. It is an opportunity to reflect on the accomplishments and sacrifices of our Veterans and give children a greater understanding of Canada’s military history.
Each year, VAC invites people to make Valentines for Vets. VAC will distribute the valentines to Veterans in long-term care facilities nationwide by February 14.
