[CANCELLED] Technology Camp for Grown-Ups
Monday, February 13 at 10 a.m.–1 p.m.
An event every week that begins at 10 a.m. on Monday, repeating until February 27, 2023
Why should kids have all the fun? Grown-ups can enjoy technology camp too!
Join us for four fun-filled sessions where we will play to learn. Bring your own phone or tablet or reserve one of ours.
Week 1: Go Camera Crazy! Get to know what the camera on your phone or tablet can do. Pose outrageously in front of the green screen. Make a stop-motion animation. Learn how to edit photos. Be a star!
Week 2: Get Social! Send your first tweet or write your first blog post. You can talk about how much fun a virtual paint party can be with Tate Paint.
Week 3: Travel Cyberspace! Get stamps on your passport as you travel the internet safely and discover your digital breadcrumbs. Design a fabulous vacation for a robot, including the perfect travel wardrobe.
Week 4: That’s a Wrap! Go on an adventure as you hunt for digital treasure. Explore search engines, evaluate sources, and rejoice as you find exactly what you were looking for!
For this in-person program:
- Masks are recommended. Anyone who wishes to continue wearing a mask may choose to do so and that choice is respected.
- Capacity may be limited.
Stay home if you are feeling sick. As the COVID-19 situation continues to change, this program may be modified or cancelled.
