Attention families! Did you know that you can tell a whole story using only pictures? Work together to create a wordless story using makebeliefscomix.com. It’s easy and fun—no drawing required.
Families are expected to spend about 20 minutes learning before the program.
Adult caregivers stay and play during this program.

School’s Out: Family Wordless Story is part of Booktopia, West Vancouver’s Literary Arts Festival for young people.
From treasure hunts to heists to card tournaments, Varian Johnson writes about kids who use their strengths in both extraordinary situations and everyday life. Join us on January 27th for a virtual visit with Varian at Booktopia: Reader! Engineer! Author! with Varian Johnson!
Booktopia is a partnership between the West Vancouver Memorial Library Foundation and West Vancouver Schools.
What you’ll need: A computer with microphone (or headphones) and webcam for Zoom. Parents and caregivers can find information on creating a Zoom account here.
We will use the “waiting room” feature on Zoom to let participants into the program one by one to keep things safe.
Please register one member per family — you can all join in!
