Paws 4 Stories | Ages 6 – 12
Friday, May 13 at 3:30 p.m.–5 p.m.
Free
Practise your reading skills by signing up for an appointment to read with Misty, a certified Paws 4 Stories therapy dog! Research shows that reading to a dog is tremendously motivational for kids, and provides a calming, relaxed environment for children who may feel hesitant or anxious about reading.
Paws 4 Stories runs Fridays from April 22 – May 13. Sessions are 20 minutes. Misty wants to meet as many kids as possible. Please only register for a maximum of two sessions during the four week series. Kids must be school-aged, able to read some English on their own, and comfortable reading with a dog and the dog’s adult handler.
