Jellyfish on the British Columbia Coast [Virtual]
October 24, 2020 at 2 p.m.–3:30 p.m.Free
Jellyfish have been around for at least 500 million years, but we have a poor understanding of their role in ecosystems. Join Jessica Schaub to learn about jellyfish ecology in British Columbia and what her research reveals about jellyfish diets and their position in coastal food webs. Jessica is a graduate student at the Institute for the Oceans and Fisheries at the University of British Columbia. She has been passionate about jellyfish and the ocean since she was young and is excited to answer all your jelly questions.
