Instagram is a social media tool focused around sharing photos and videos creatively while building community. Become one of more than a billion users and learn how to share selfies, follow your faves, host online events, and promote your ideas.

What you’ll need: Bring your own laptop, tablet, or smartphone, or use one of our iPads.

Attendees must download the Instagram app onto their device before class, or know the password for their app provider in order to be able to download it in class. If you need help, call or visit the Community Computing Centre at least a day before the class (604.925.7405).

For this in-person program:

  • Masks are recommended. Anyone who wishes to continue wearing a mask may choose to do so and that choice is respected.
  • Per Public Health updates, proof of vaccination is no longer required.
  • Pre-registration is required.
  • Capacity is limited.

Stay home if you are feeling sick. Please use the hand sanitizer provided when you arrive. As the COVID-19 situation continues to change, this program may be modified or cancelled.
