To commemorate its 75th anniversary, the West Vancouver Memorial Library is excited to partner with the West Vancouver Art Museum to present a retrospective exhibition. This exhibition features a carefully curated collection of archival images that highlight the architecture of the Library and its pivotal role in the community. Each selected photograph captures a moment in time, reflecting the collective memories of generations who have used this space.
The Library has not only served as a repository of knowledge and resources but has also helped shape the cultural and social fabric of West Vancouver. Over the past 75 years it has been a witness to the growth and evolution of the community, influencing and adapting to the changing lifestyles of its residents. This exhibition invites visitors to explore the lasting impact of the Library and appreciate its significance in the heart of West Vancouver.
Presented in partnership with the West Vancouver Art Museum as part of West Coast Modern Week, July 8 to 13.
