Farsi Poetry Night

An event every month that begins at 5:45 p.m. on day First of the month, happening 2 times
In these two friendly sessions, a group of Persian poetry and literature enthusiasts will read and discuss the beautiful poems of Iranian poets.
In the first session, they will talk about the Persian poet Ferdowsi and his masterpiece, the Shahnameh. During this session, they will discuss the genealogy, history, and geography of the Shahnameh and its origin and purpose.
In the second session, they will focus on the poetry of other Iraqi-style poets, especially Saadi and Hafez.
Participants are welcome to share their own poetry and favourite selections.
ما گروهی از دوستداران شعر و ادب پارسی بر آنیم تا در روزهای زیبای بهار گرد هم آییم و اشعار زیبای شاعران ایران را در دو نشست دوستانه با هم بخوانیم.
در اولین نشست، می‌خواهیم درباره حکیم فردوسی و شاهنامه سترگش گفتگو کنیم. در این نشست درباره تبارنامه، تاریخ و جغرافیای شاهنامه و همچنین چگونگی و چرایی شاهنامه گفتگو خواهیم کرد و سپس ابتدای شاهنامه را خواهیم خواند.
در دومین نشست، به بررسی اشعار دیگر شاعران سبک عراقی به خصوص سعدی و حافظ بزرگ خواهیم پرداخت.
همچنین با آغوشی باز پذیرای شنیدن سروده‌های شرکت کنندگان یا اشعار انتخابیشان نیز هستیم.
