September 13, 2023 at 3:45 p.m.–5 p.m.
An event every week that begins at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, repeating until October 4, 2023
In this four-week course, students will explore the exciting world of software engineering and robotics! Through a series of hands-on activities and guidance from high school volunteers, students will design, test, and debug their very own software using a virtual robot simulation.
Registration is required and opens August 1 at 10 a.m. Registering more than one child? Please register each child separately. Caregivers of children younger than 10 years old must stay in the Library for the duration of the program.
This is a series of four classes running September 13, 20, 27, and October 4 from 3:45 to 5 p.m.
By registering for one, you are registered for all sessions in this series. Please only register if you plan to attend all four classes.
About Koala Koders:
Koala Koders started in May of 2022 with the goal to provide free coding education to kids and teens around the Vancouver area. Through Koala Koders, students will learn about fundamental coding concepts, how to create their own projects, and more, all while having fun doing so! Koala Koders is currently established at the North Vancouver District Library, North Vancouver City Library, and West Vancouver Memorial Library. We hope to engage our students and give them a jumpstart into the world of STEM!
