In recent years we’ve seen more and more climate-related emergencies in addition to other natural disasters.
Are you ready for an emergency? Hosted by North Shore Emergency Management (NSEM), this presentation reviews the potential hazards North Shore residents face, and how to be resilient!
Participants will learn how to create an emergency plan and kit, and review Alertable, the North Shore’s new emergency notification system.
NSEM is an inter-municipal agency whose mission is serve and support the North Shore municipalities and citizens in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from emergencies and disasters.
Climate change is causing lasting and devastating problems for our world right now. As a hub for information and community-building, the Library is a critical part of the response to this emergency. Climate Future is a community-driven initiative that invites the community to come together to deepen knowledge and take action around the climate crisis.
