Climate Future: Seth Klein Author Talk [VIRTUAL]
Thursday, November 26 at 7 p.m.–8:30 p.m.Free
Climate change is causing lasting and devastating problems for our world right now. As a hub for information and community-building, the Library is a critical part of the response to this emergency. Climate Future is a community-driven initiative to share knowledge, inspire action and—collectively—change the world for the better by reducing local emissions.
Author and activist Seth Klein will talk about his new book, A Good War: Mobilizing Canada for the Climate Emergency, which uses lessons learned from the Second World War as a call to action against today’s climate crisis. The book is an invitation to both the public and our political leaders today as we face down the defining task of our lives.
Discussion and Q&A moderated by intersectional climate justice advocate and strategist Tesicca Truong.
