Climate Future: Repair Café
Saturday, September 18 at 10 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
Climate change is causing lasting and devastating problems for our world right now. As a hub for information and community-building, the Library is a critical part of the response to this emergency. Climate Future is a community-driven initiative that invites the community to come together to deepen knowledge and take action around the climate crisis.
Repair Cafés return to West Vancouver with three in-person events this summer! On July 10, August 14, and September 18, bring your broken household items to West Vancouver Library’s Rooftop Patio, where handy volunteers will help fix them. Textiles, bicycles, jewelry, electronics, small appliances, toys, small furniture, etc, anything that can be easily carried in is welcome!
Free but registration is recommended through Eventbrite for repairs. COVID safety measures in place. Please visit Metro Van Repair Café for more information or if you are interested in volunteering.
Presented in partnership with the District of West Vancouver and Metro Van Repair Café.
