An event every week that begins at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday, repeating until March 9, 2021
Practice your reading skills and play literacy games from home in this 25-minute program! Kids meet virtually with teen volunteers stationed and socially distanced at the library on Zoom. Kids must be school-aged and able to read some English on their own in order to register for the program.
This program is part of a series that runs Tuesdays, February 16 – March 9, 4:15-4:40 p.m. Participants must be able to attend all sessions. Registering below registers you for the entire series.
What you’ll need:
- Kids can have books from home ready to read or select an eBook with their book buddy.
- Computer with microphone (or headphones) and webcam for Zoom.
- Zoom account. Parents and caregivers can find information on creating a free Zoom account here.
- Please ensure your child is in a comfortable and quiet space during this program.
We will use the “waiting room” feature on Zoom to let participants into the program one by one to keep things safe.
