An event every week that begins at 3 p.m. on Saturday, repeating until May 6, 2023
Children will play literacy games and practise their reading skills with teen volunteers during this one-hour program. Kids must be school-aged and able to read some English on their own in order to register for the program.
Book Buddies runs from 3–4 p.m. on Saturdays, April 15–May 6. Kids must be able to attend all four sessions.
For this in-person program:
- Masks are recommended. Anyone who wishes to continue wearing a mask may choose to do so and that choice is respected.
- Capacity may be limited.
Stay home if you are feeling sick. As the COVID-19 situation continues to change, this program may be modified or cancelled.
