An event every week that begins at 4 p.m. on Friday, repeating until February 3, 2023
Children will play literacy games and practise their reading skills with teen volunteers during this one-hour program. Kids must be school-aged and able to read some English on their own in order to register for the program.
Book Buddies runs from 4 – 5 p.m. on Fridays, January 13 – February 3. Kids must be able to attend all sessions.
For this in-person program:
- Masks are recommended. Anyone who wishes to continue wearing a mask may choose to do so and that choice is respected.
- Capacity may be limited.
Stay home if you are feeling sick. As the COVID-19 situation continues to change, this program may be modified or cancelled.
