2021 North Shore Writers Festival: Wayde Compton Presents: Black British Columbian History in Three Literary Forms
Thursday, April 15 at 7 p.m.–8:30 p.m.
The North Shore Writers Festival presents a Night with Wayde Compton!
Author Wayde Compton discusses Black British Columbian history through the different literary forms of his published works — poetry, non-fiction essay, and the graphic novel. Compton will read from all three and discuss how the different approaches to the topic inform, or are informed by, the literary forms they take.
This is a virtual program that takes place online via Zoom. You’ll need a computer, smartphone, or tablet.
Registration is required. Register by April 15 at 12:00 p.m. — the meeting link and instructions will be emailed to registrants on the day of the event.
You can register for the event here.
In addition to enjoying the night’s free presentation, attendees will be entered in to a random door prize draw.
