Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows by Balli Kaur Jaswal
Nikki, living in West London, has distanced herself from her traditional Sikh family. When her father’s death leaves them in financial jeopardy, Nikki takes a job teaching creative writing at a Punjabi community centre. Nikki soon realizes that her students have a wealth of fantasies and memories, and she teaches them how to unleash their creativity. When the widows’ gossip offers shocking insights into the recent death of a young wife and some of the class erotica is shared among friends, it sparks a scandal that threatens them all.
